Indigenous Action Media in collaboration with residents from the Partitioned Lands of the Dineh Nation have finished production of "Crisis on Black Mesa" is a brief and compelling documentary about the destruction and desecration of the Camp Anna Mae sacred Sundance Grounds at Big Mountain, Arizonawhich occured on August 17th 2001.
We are currently seeking funding for duplication and distribution of the video. This video's purpose is to spread awareness of this critical issue that has been neglected by mainstream media. We would like to start with duplicating 300 videos, 150 of which would go directly to those residents whom speak on behalf of the struggle on Black Mesa who travel to spread awareness. They would be able to sell them at their speaking engagements. The rest of the videos would be utilized by the Black Mesa Indigenous Support Network and Indigenous Action Media to raise awareness and funding for projects related to the Black Mesa struggle. Our current estimated cost which includes duplication, shipping and handling is $500.00.
