Dear Permittee;

On, May 30, 2001. Hopi Tribal Chairman requested the Bureau of Indian
Affairs, Hopi Agency to begin enforcement of the Hopi Tribal Ordinance
#43 on all of the Hopi Partitioned Lands. Upon considering the legal
basis of the Tribe’s request, Hopi Agency has agreed to accept the
responsibility to enforce the Ordinance.

Therefore, beginning on October 08, 2001. Hopi Agency Branch of Hopi
Partitioned Lands will begin enforcing Hopi Tribal Grazing Ordinance
#43, on all of the Hopi Partitioned Lands under our jurisdiction.
